In the 2-room apartment on the 3rd floor you have the feeling of staying in the tree tops. Large window fronts on both sides and double sliding doors make the apartment a bright and roomy place to follow the shifting colors and seasons.
Entering the apartment, you’ll step directly into the combined living room and kitchen. The place for cooking, listening to music or reading. Sofa, bar or dinner table at your disposal, TV and internet access as well. The balcony, stretching along the window front, is nicely shaded by the big tree in front.
The bedroom facing Tiergarten contains a comfortable double “Hästens” bed and a desktop, for undisturbed sleeping and working.
The house, designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1957, is part of Interbau 57 in Hansaviertel , Berlin. Situated in the middle of Tiergarten, the green “lung” of Berlin, the nature is all around and at the same time you’re directly in the center of the city. The nearest S-Bahn is Bellevue and the U-Bahn Hansaplatz is right outside the door.
On Hansaplatz you’ll find almost everything you need for daily life, such as supermarket, pharmacy, library, dry cleaning, bakery, café, theatre, even a small wine store… For better restaurants and shopping, Mitte and Charlottenburg are just a ten minute bike ride away.
